Clear answers before the first snowfall. If your question is not covered here, call or send a service request and our team will help.
Do I need to call you when it snows?
No. We monitor conditions and dispatch crews automatically as snowfall approaches 5 cm, so season-plan customers do not need to call for each storm.
How quickly will my driveway be cleared?
We aim to service every property within six hours after snowfall ends. Storm intensity, road conditions and municipal plowing can affect timing.
Do I need to be home during service?
No. We simply need clear access to your driveway, walkways, porch and steps. Moving vehicles and other obstacles before service helps our crew work safely and completely.
What if a car is parked in my driveway?
We clear around parked vehicles as best we can, but we can't clear the snow underneath or tight against a car. Moving vehicles off the driveway before a visit lets us clear the full surface — and if a car is there when we arrive, the covered part of the driveway will still have snow on it when the car moves.
Which areas do you service?
Toronto routes open neighbourhood by neighbourhood across Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, York, East York and the core — see the areas list above. Send us your address and we'll confirm whether we can open a route on your street this season.
Is salting included?
Yes. Standard salting and de-icing are included with every visit and cover freezing-rain and ice events too — not only snowfalls that reach the 5 cm service threshold. If you have interlock or decorative concrete, a premium interlock-safe salt is available on request — it's gentler on stone and concrete, safer around pets and plants, and works in colder temperatures. Ask for pricing when you book.
Do you clear the windrow left by the city plow?
Yes. The packed pile left by the city plow at the end of your driveway is included in every season plan.
Where do you pile the snow?
Snow is pushed to the edges of your driveway and onto your own lawn or boulevard where space allows — never left blocking your walkway, porch, steps or a neighbour's driveway.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry WSIB coverage and commercial general liability insurance.
What happens during a huge storm?
Heavy or continuing snowfall can cause delays, and crews may make up to 2 visits per day in heavy storms. In extreme weather, we prioritize safe travel and responsible equipment operation while working through the route as quickly and efficiently as conditions allow.
When should I sign up?
We recommend signing up before the season starts on November 15 so your property is secured on a route. Spots are limited per area so routes stay tight and service stays fast.
What's the difference between season plans and monthly plans?
In Toronto we sell one full-season plan — November 15 through April 1 at a single flat price, with everything included. We don't offer monthly plans in Toronto.
What if I need to cancel?
Season plans have a seven-day grace period with a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the amount paid. After that grace period, the cancellation fee is 50%. See the refund section below for the complete policy and review process.
